Labs - Performed in our CLIA certified lab

Some laboratory tests are done in our in-house lab and the results are available immediately. These tests include: Rapid Strep Tests, Mononucleosis tests, Influenza tests, Hemogram (CBC), Hemaglobin A1C (for diabetes), Blood Sugar, Urinalysis, Sed Rate, Pregnancy Test, Wet Prep for Yeast Infections, INR (test to monitor Coumadin / Anticoagulation), stool occult Blood. These results will be discussed with you at the time of your visit and are not included in the Relay Health results emailed to you (see below).

We are pleased to offer you a new, convenient way to view your LabCorp lab results that were ordered at our office. Using the internet , you can now review your lab results securely online through the RelayHealth lab portal service. This service does not include the in house labwork performed at The Family Doctor. These results will be discussed with you at the time of your office visit.

The RelayHealth service is a safe, secure and confidential way to view your LabCorp lab results. It's as easy to use as email, but incorporates stronger security measures to ensure your privacy.

The Family Doctor is offering this service as a convenience to you. Finally, no more waiting on the mail to deliver your lab results. No more worrying about your results ending up in the wrong hands. You can receive your lab result s faster tahn ever. All you need is access to a computer with an internet connection and an email account in order to register.

Within one week you will receive an email notification when your LabCorp lab results are released into your account. You will have the opportunity to enter your own personal health record. This record can be assessed by both you and your medical provider.
